Clubhouse

The club is run by a voluntary workforce guided by the club committee, we prepare the course ourselves and its not unusal to see the Club and Lady Captains whipping the dew of the greens before a competition.

We have a old wooden pavillion clubhouse with a bar and function room, mens and ladies changing rooms. We do have social events at the clubhouse including Presentation night, Summer disco and quiz nights throughout the year, we are currently planning a New Years Eve party.

About The Club

The Club is affiliated to the EGU and SGU and offer official CONGU handicaps to any one who is a member.

There are competitions every week, of which a high percentage are handicap qualifiers and various social nights throughout the year.The course is normally restricted to members on Saturday mornings for competitions. The course is open from 8am till dusk and all visitors are welcome but we do ask that all consideration is given to the other common users.

We play on a nine hole inland links type course with 9 casual mens tees, 18 competition mens tees and 9 ladies competition tees. Although we have no bunkers or water on the course we do have very small greens, lots of out of bounds and even more gorse, which many shots are played over!

The competition tees are par 68 with a sss 66.
